Clarry is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, qualified sound engineer, and music producer. He credits the rich diverse multi-ethnic mix of Sierra Leone as the wellspring of his creative imagination.

As a creative artist and producer, he sees himself, as being challenged by the fertility of competing ethnic voices, each with its own unique expression and his major task is to find space for each voice to express itself in the harmony of a national  cultural music.

He remains stubbornly disobedient to the quick fix of overnight success and follow-fashion junkies. As he insists “the creative process will never cheat you when you respect the discipline of its principles for success”.

He sees his mission as an artist and producer as creating music that lives long in the memory of people throughout the world touched by his creative work. In this sense, his work is always aspiring to the heights of new creative challenges that have a universal appeal.
