For me, music is all and everything in our song to life. I am a song in my own life. My voice is here to sing music’s sacred promise to help to make our consciousness dance to its highest purpose. My calling as a song began in church as a part of a choir where I learnt the art of listening and creating through a collective voice of cultural inspiration.
The church confirmed my earliest belief that music chose me and not me it to do its good work in life. I am inspired, dedicated and disciplined to follow in the creatively pioneering paths of my great sheroes; Miriam Makeba, Fatoumata Diawara, Brenda Russell, and Celine Dion. These great mountains of musical achievements articulated their music through the melodies of inspired creativity, sophisticated and refined public presence, and the gracious humbling acceptance of serving every audience with the best of oneself.
Yes, I am inspired by these great monuments of music creativity, whose legacy is a fortune to humanity’s cultural inheritance. My music ambition is to climb mountains on the inspired wings of creative imagination.
