Onedeno
Onedeno was weaned on the ever-enriching vine of conscious Jamaican music. His father, the lead singer and songwriter of the Jolly Brothers, who was a contemporary of consciousness poets Bob Marley & the Wailers, Dennis Brown, Burning spear, Gregory Isaacs and the Congos, penned the group’s first international hit, Conscious Man. Onedeno ever mindful of his cultural pedigree, says he is inspired to honour the great legacy bequeathed to him in his own creative productions. He insists that ‘life is a journey towards happiness, my music is happiness in performance!’
